The story behind Tropismo

The story of Tropismo starts with two people: Luca Fievez who grew up in the north of France and Luha Vieira, in the south. He is a cook, fond of botany and traveling. She is a jurist, passionate about sociology and philosophy.

Together they share the same ethos and goals: the health of mankind and its environment, and the hope of being able to live while applying this ethic to their work….

Menu

Most of our products come from local Portuguese farms.
The meat comes from extensive livestock farming (pasture) and the fish are wild.
Fruits and vegetables are organic farm products.

Not situated in a touristic neighbourhood of Lisbon but definitely worth taking a cab to go there ! The owners are so kind and the food was delicious for a very reasonable price. The restaurant in itself is a pleasure for the eyes. I went there with friends and we felt like we were home enjoying our meal in the garden ! I am not a "dessert person" but I strongly recommend the lemon sorbet ! Looking forward to going back !

Infelizmente não reservamos e não deu para ficar na esplanada. Tentei, aqui pelo zomato, mas não há aqui essa opção, apesar das mesas terem "Reservado Zomato". O espaço é muito giro e convidativo. A comida também estava maravilhosa, ainda que a entrada tenha um aspecto tosco e o atendimento tenha sido difícil, mas houve esforço de fazer bem. Quem sabe numa próxima não dou um 4. Acho que para já, e entende-se acabou de abrir, precisam de afinações. Boa sorte e bem-vindo ao bairro! Até breve 🙂
